Artangel visited Leeds a few weeks ago to discuss their plans for Open Platform, a new £1million initiative in partnership with Radio 4. They are actively seeking submissions for regional, site-specific work. Previous commissions have included Jeremy Deller's The Battle of Orgreave, Michael Landy's Break Down and Clio Barnard's The Arbor.
Proposals are encouraged from UK-based visual artists, filmmakers, writers, composers, theatre makers, choreographers and producers as well as artists working in the digital space.
