On Monday 18th March a group of Leeds Met students will be working with artists Ailie Rutherford, Dave Lynch and a bike expert at Barkston House in Holbeck. Dave Lynch's rickshaw projection bike will form part of the workshop, alongside Grace the Swan Pedalo.
Ailie Rutherford has been commissioned by Compass to develop a new piece of work for Bike Fest and will lead on some of the workshops including this one.
This is the first of 14 workshops taking place across Leeds with a wide range of people exploring pedal power leading up to Bike Fest in July 2013. The workshops are being co-ordinated by Adam Young (Indivisible). Bike Fest is an East Street Arts project supported by Leeds Inspired.
