COMPASS FESTIVAL 13 – 23 November 2014 was an extraordinary 11 days of mostly free live artworks across Leeds from world class artists, performance makers and emerging talent. With the support of 16 city partners we brought 20 interactive and engagingly disruptive experiences to venues, public spaces, iconic buildings and community cafes. 5,834 people took a step out of their daily routine to engage in some part of the festival programme occurring right where they lived, worked or played. They tell us it was amazing. Thank you to everyone: artists, partners, audiences, passersby, producers and volunteers who made it such a great success. We hope this is the beginning of a long relationship with the city. Look out for Compass Festival 2016
